Tina's career in food and beverage began in 1977, in the world famous, five star, Oriental Hotel, Bangkok. She subsequently migrated to Australia in 1983. She worked in the hospitality industry on the Gold Coast from 1983 to 1986. Opened the Thai Orchid Restaurant in Springwood in 1986, which under her leadership has won several American Express Restaurant Awards

Since taking up residence in Brisbane in 1986, Tina has been essentially, a foundation member of the Thai community in Queensland.
Membership of Organisations and Associations:
-President of the Thai-Australian Association of Queensland 2017 to 2022;
-President of Brisbane's annual 'Thai Food Festival' from 2017 to 2019;
-Vice President of Wat Thai Buddharam 2022 to date
